Next week, most Autodesk employees in the US will be observing a company shutdown and taking some vacation time. Autodesk has done this a couple times over the last year to help manage expenses in the recovering economic climate. Critical systems (including Product Support) will still have staffing and coverage during the week but if it seems quiet on the various blogs, RSS feeds and Twitter accounts ... now you know why.
Following that break, I will be taking a sabbatical and unplugging from everything work-related for six additional weeks. I have a couple of Without a Net posts queued up but otherwise I will be making myself scarce and leaving the site in Dan's capable hands.
