We have discovered an issue where a fatal error could be experienced when using the COPYBASE command. The error can display under the following conditions:
1. Using the COPYBASE command, and ...
2. Selecting an active grip point as the base point, while ...
3. Dynamic Input is turned on.
This can affect AutoCAD 2010, AutoCAD 2010-based vertical products and AutoCAD LT 2010.
We are actively working on a permanent solution to the problem. In the meantime, an interim workaround is to turn off Dynamic Input by setting the DYNMODE system variable to 0.
